  1. ls : List the current directory content.
  2. cd : Use this to change current Directory.
  3. cat : can be used to display file content on to the screen, copy and combine text files.
  4. history : use this to show all executed commands list on the screen. 
  5. chmod : use chomod to change file permission.
  6. chown : use this to change file owner.
  7. clear : use this to clear screen for fresh start.
  8. df : It display used and available disk space. 
  9. date : display current system date and time 
  10. du : It display space taken by each file.
  11. file : it recognize type of data in any file. 
  12. find: search any term in file.
  13. man : display help for specific command.
  14. cp : can be used to copy files and folders

  23. rmdir : can be used to remove empty directory
  24. rm : can be used to remove files and directories (emptry or non empty)
  25. pwd : it shows current user working directory
  26. ps : it display running process with id and other information
  27. passwd : can be used to change user password
  28. more : it display file page by page
  29. kill : can be used to kill any process with the help of process id
  30. gzip : to create a compress file with .gz extension
  31. unzip : to unzip or uncompress  zip file
  32. shutdown : to shutdown machine
  33. free : can be used to dhow 
  34. top : to show top process on the based of cpu usage
  35. who : to display users information who are currently logged in
  36. whereis : to find out the location of any command (where it is stored) 
  37. whatis : show any command information in a single line.
  38. tail : print last ten lines of any file
  39. wget : to download any file from internet, rename it and store anywhere
